Community service may be available to satisfy certain citations. You must complete the necessary community service hours at a nonprofit organization within the City of Lewisville unless otherwise approved by the judiciary.  

At any time you wish to pay the balance in full instead of completing the community service hours, you may do so.

To request Community Service, you must appear in-person at the court before the Judge. You will need to have with you:

• Acceptable form of identification (Social security cards and selfies (pictures) are NOT valid forms of identification)
• Personal documentation that will show the Judge your need for alternative payment methods such as community service.  These documents could include:
  •  Government assistance paperwork
  •  Banking information
  • Monthly income and expense paperwork
